The Flatbush and Shaare Torah Jewish Center is a caring congregation that seeks to accommodate the diverse spiritual needs of the Jewish community. We maintain a commitment to traditional Jewish observance, while embracing the concept of change as taught by the Conservative/Masorti movement.
Our programs are multi-dimensional and geared towards enhancing the spiritual, intellectual, and religious growth of our unique membership, encouraging Tikkun Olam.
We welcome all Jews regardless of sexual orientation or level of observance. We take pride in the diversity of our members, who range from progressive to Orthodox.
Our membership is comprised of families, singles, young, elderly, intermarried Jews, and Jews by choice.
